Sowing Memories: Community Clean-Up & Bluebonnet Planting
Welcome. We have created this space to honor the beautiful life of Ana, a beloved wife, and mother to our three incredible children.
Ana was deeply passionate about the environment. She believed in leaving the earth better than we found it—championing recycling, water conservation, and native planting. On April 2026, at just 33 years old, Ana passed away after a courageous battle with High-Grade Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (HG NEC).
To celebrate her birthday on September 5th, our neighborhood is coming together to honor her eco-friendly spirit and raise vital funds for rare cancer research.
The Event: September 5th
Where: The Green Belt near Monarch View Park / Labrador Run Drive, Frisco, TX
When: Saturday, September 5, 2026 (Time TBD)
What to Bring: A reusable water bottle and comfortable clothes. We will provide the tools, bags, and seeds!
We will spend the morning clearing the green belt of litter, separating recyclables, and planting a massive sea of Texas Bluebonnets. These beautiful native flowers are incredibly drought-tolerant and require almost no extra watering once established—a perfect reflection of Ana’s dedication to water conservation.
When spring arrives, the bluebonnets will serve as a living, water-wise reminder of the beauty she brought to our lives and her dedication to the earth.
Support the Cause
Because rare and aggressive cancers like HG NEC often lack the necessary spotlight and funding, we are using this day to raise awareness and support crucial research through the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF).
If you cannot attend the event in person, or would simply like to support the cause, please consider making a donation to Ana’s memorial fund.
